A new statutory national curriculum has been introduced to primary schools in England from September 2014.
Please find below parents guides to find out about expectations for each year group. It is important to remember that children do not all learn at the same pace or in a linear fashion, some children have aptitude for specific subjects although need additional consolidation in other subjects.
