Yesterday Toby, Jacob, Charlie, Oakleigh, Joe, Ryan, Carys, Annabelle, Jessica, Sasha, Cecily, Phoebe, Megan, Diya, Reilly, Bella, Nola, Marcie and Angelina , Mrs Eade and I headed off to the Genting Arena in Birmingham for the eagerly anticipated Young Voices concert. We had been busy learning the songs and all the dance moves to join the other 7000 children. As always a highlight for me is to watch the Urban Strides group dance on stage – they are amazing and I certainly enjoy trying some of the actions with the songs as well as the electric atmosphere when the lights go out and the children let out a huge scream.

The whole school enjoyed a tasty Christmas lunch today.Thank you so much Gemma for all your hard work – lunch was amazing!

On Thursday Revd. Sue led our special assembly in the Abbey to present our Poppy Banner. It was a very moving time especially hearing the names of soldiers from the village who lost their lives during the wars.

Yesterday saw our second Harvest Festival in the Abbey since we re-started having our service during the school week. It was great to see so many parents who were able to join us. I was very proud of all the readers, who did an amazing job – well done! A big thank you to everyone, who was able to bring some foodstuff to support the Wallingford Food Bank – I know it will be greatly appreciated.
